It’s been a while (two years!) since Primary’s 2 album was released. Now Primary returns with his latest album Shininryu. Primary always manages to gather a talented group of artists to collaborate with his projects. I was very excited to see some of the names featured on this album.

You can find all of the album content with photos of all of the featured artists at the website address shown on the album cover. Here are some of my favorite songs from Shininryu:

Baby is a jazzy, upbeat R&B track. Joo Young has been on hiatus for while after enlisting in the army a long time ago. It’s good to be able to enjoy his vocals again.

~42 has that classic Primary vibe to it – as soon as you hear it, you know exactly who it’s produced by. Sam Kim’s voice and style of singing fits this song perfectly. I’m not very familiar with Esna but I did recognize her name. She has a great vocal tone.

알아 I Know – What I’ve learned this summer is you simply can’t go wrong with a Sumin feature. Check out the artist highlight I recently wrote on her if you haven’t yet.

오늘은 왠지 Today – This may be my favorite song on the whole album. I was not familiar with Ofa before and this is quite the introduction. I love the piano in that little bridge in the song towards the end.

미지근해 Lukewarm – Another vocalist I’m less familiar with with a fantastic voice. I really like this track. I definitely want to hear more from Cokebath soon.
