“Unpretty Rapstars” Heize and Kisum release new songs

Kisum and Heize, both former participants on the show Unpretty Rapstar (season 1 and season 2 respectively) have kicked off the month of June with new singles!

Heize collaborated with DEAN for ‘Shut Up & Groove’ from her new single album And July. DEAN and fellow Club Eskimo artist 2xxx! produced the song together. You can find the lyrics here.

I love the video and I think DEAN and Heize’s voices blend well together.

I really enjoyed Kisum’s last single ‘심상치 않아 (You and Me)’ featuring Jooyoung. ‘맥주 두 잔 (2 Beer)’ has a different mood but Kisum’s style is the same. She has a really relaxed flow, almost like she’s talking. While that can sometimes come off as lazy, instead I would describe it as laid-back and easy to listen to.
