‘Skip’ is the first installment of CJ E&M and HIGHGRND’s collaboration project ‘Sound Boutique Collection’. This track combines Crush’s vocals with the talent of “Korean funk guitar legend” Han Sang Won (Source: Soompi).

‘Skip’ is a song that I listened to and enjoyed but all the while I was slightly distracted by the sense that it sounds a lot like something I’ve heard before. At least until around the 2:44 mark where there is a pleasant little breakdown.

If you’ve been following SeoulRebels for a while you already know how I feel about Crush as an artist but I was really glad to be introduced to Han Sang Won. If you haven’t heard it yet (or seen the music video) check out ‘Skip’ below!
