YG artist Lee Hi released her half album ‘Seoulite’ last week and Deanfluenza (aka singer/producer DEAN) wrote the lyrics for ‘World Tour’ with Mino and composed/arranged the track with another producer Re:One.

Lee Hi is still signed with YG but Tablo’s label HIGHGRND oversaw the production of this album. The finished product is a few great R&B tracks that highlight the 19-year-old’s soulful vocals. Dok2 and SMTM4 finalist Incredivle are also featured on the album.

Deanfluenza has been producing music for various artists for a while now but his artist persona has become more well known in the last year as he has begun releasing his own music. He won the 2015 HipHopPlaya Award for R&B Artist of the Year and just last month he won the Korean Music Award for best R&B/Soul song for ‘Pour Up‘.

This week DEAN will be performing at SXSW! He is being featured on the Hypetrak Stage at House of Vans as well as the Spotify HOUSE stage with notable acts like Miguel, AlunaGeorge and Anderson Paak (who collabed with Dean for ‘Put My Hands on You‘). Other Korean artists that will be at SXSW this year are Zion. T and indie band Bye Bye Badman.
