A week after announcing his return, artist DEAN has delivered a new single titled “DIE 4 YOU”, available now on all platforms.

“DIE 4 YOU” is a love letter filled with angst and longing. This is my favorite single Dean has released because of the incredible clarity of his vocals on the track. Unlike some of his past songs (with the exception of “Instagram” perhaps), “DIE 4 YOU” has beautiful but somewhat muted instrumental elements which allow for the richness of Dean’s voice to be in the foreground. The production on this record is so perfect I could kiss everyone involved on the forehead.

Dean’s caption on Instagram suggests that “DIE 4 YOU” has an alternative title of “4:44” while a Genius page suggests that the single and the unreleased track Dean posted last week are a part of an upcoming album titled 4:44. We’ll find out soon enough.

All I know is, if “DIE 4 YOU” is any indication of what we have to look forward to on Dean’s next project, we’re going to be blessed.
