It’s been quite a while since Babylon’s single ‘Pray’ was released last summer. Now the talented R&B vocalist is back with ‘너 나 우리’. Many fans have compared Babylon’s voice to artists like Taeyang, DEAN, Zion.T or some combination of them. All comparisons aside, in this current season of young R&B artists like Crush and DEAN soaking up much of the spotlight, Babylon still manages to stand out and shine in his own way.

My first exposure to Babylon was on Paloalto’s song ‘Good Times‘ from the Cheers album. Babylon has since featured on the Gaeko x Yankie track ‘Cheers‘, ‘Boys and Girls’ from Zico’s Gallery album as well as tracks by Microdot and The Quiett.

This is a great song.  It’s always great to see how an artist has grown between releases. Compared to ‘Pray’,  this time Babylon’s depth as an artist and the range of his vocal ability is shown more clearly. Additionally, Dok2’s verse blended in well and was the perfect length.
